One of our English speaking drivers will be waiting for you outside of the cruise ship terminal of Naples Sorrento or Salerno ( or at the Lobby of your Hotel) and be easily identified as he will be holding a sign with your name on it.
Your private driver will then escort you to your vehicle and then ,we’ll drive to the mount Vesuvio(volcano) about 30 minutes away where you will spend 2 hours there climbing one of famous and active volcano of the world that has destroyed and buried with the violent of his eruption with ash and lava under meters and feet Pompeii, Herculaneum and the others villages…
The admission fee includes a short commentary by a local guide. That takes place once you reach on foot the top of the crater. Official guides will offer complimentary shared tours in multiple languages.
This introduction takes about 5/10 minutes and it takes place every few minutes. Then you are free to discover on own. It is possible to walk half the way around the lips of the volcano.
You cannot walk all the way around. You do not need to have your private guide. At end of your 2 hours of free time our driver will take you back to cruise ship terminal or to the hotel.
